Mineral Museum Tiso

Our region is famous for the “Teiser balls”. These are so-called geodes, crystals up to 20 cm in diameter, which are embedded in a host rock, the Druze. Amethysts, agates and other gems fill the cavity, sometimes up to seven different crystals. A feast for the eyes that you can admire in detail in the Mineral Museum in Tiso. The exquisite exhibition is a eyecatcher and also a business card for many geological mysteries in the Val di Funes.
